Jacob Hill Junior Rider Development Scholarships

The Jacob Hill Junior Rider Development Scholarship honors the life and legacy of Jacob Hill, a graduate of Mars Hill University and a proud member of its collegiate cycling team. The Hill Family established the JHJRD Scholarship to support junior riders who dream of racing, learning, and growing through the sport we all cherish. Through this scholarship, Jacob’s passion lives on—helping young athletes develop not only as cyclists, but as individuals, and ensuring that financial barriers never stand in the way of opportunity. Pay it Forward Scholarships
Built by Riders, for Riders

Thanks to the generosity of former Mars Hill Cycling Camp participants and their families, we are proud to offer two partial scholarships for aspiring young cyclists to attend a Mars Hill Cycling Camp in the summer of 2026. These scholarships—each valued at $300—cover part of the cost of camp and provide an opportunity for two deserving riders to sharpen their skills, build confidence, and connect with a passionate cycling community.

These scholarships are made possible exclusively through the donations of prior camp participants and their families, who believe in the power of cycling and are committed to paying it forward. They know firsthand the impact that Mars Hill Cycling Camps can have, and they’re generous in giving back, helping the next generation of riders experience the same opportunities they had.
